Cron Every Week

The cron expression 0 0 * * 0 runs a job once per week — every Sunday at midnight. This is equivalent to the @weekly shorthand supported by many cron implementations.

Weekly jobs are ideal for digest emails, weekly backups, report generation, and maintenance tasks that don't need to run daily. Choose a day and time that minimizes impact on your users and gives the job plenty of time to complete.
